The motors can be connected or disconnected independently of each other via integrated, hydraulically actuated multi-disc friction clutches.<br \/>\nAll shafts and wheels run in white metal journal bearings.<\/p>\n<p>The propeller thrust bearing is integrated in the gearbox and designed as an axial tilting pad bearing.<br \/>\nThe OD-box for the propeller is flanged on the forward side of the gearbox.<\/p>\n<p>Power: 2 x 4,400 kW.<\/p>\n<p>Gearbox weight: 19 tons.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<h4>Luxury yacht<\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;wk-second-row&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;679&#8243; img_size=&#8221;500&#215;330&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]Combined planetary parallel shaft gear for a gas turbine waterjet drive.<\/p>\n<p>The gas turbine and the gearbox form a compact propulsion unit.<br \/>\nThe gearbox is made in lightweight construction with the casing made of aluminum.<br \/>\nA self-synchronizing clutch connects the turbine shaft to the input shaft.<br \/>\nThe gearbox is equipped with a PTI for an auxiliary diesel engine.<\/p>\n<p>Turbine power: 4&#8217;200 kW.<\/p>\n<p>Gearbox weight: 2.1 tons.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<h4>Contra-rotating propeller system<\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;680&#8243; img_size=&#8221;500&#215;330&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]Planetary gear with 7 planetary gears and hollow shaft for a diesel engine CRP drive.<\/p>\n<p>The two propellers are arranged coaxially. The diesel engine drives the aft propeller directly and the forward propeller via the gearbox, which reverses the direction of rotation and reduces the speed.<br \/>\nThe thrust bearing for the forward propeller is integrated in the gearbox.<\/p>\n<p>For a uniform load distribution between the planetary gears, the sun gear is self-aligning and the ring gear is flexible.<\/p>\n<p>Output
